“Dr Pappas is probably the best doctor I have ever dealt with. He took me on as a new patient in 48hrs notice. On the day of my appointment, I was brought in promptly to my appointment and he answered every single question. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy on a Saturday morning and again was taken on time. When I woke up from the sedation, Dr Pappas was at my bedside and thoroughly explained everything. I cannot believe the level of care and concern Dr Pappas had for me as I was quite scared until pathology came back, but he has been top notch all the way through. I was referred out to another surgeon for a delicate procedure, which I was very disappointed with after the level of care I received at Colon & Rectal Surgical Specialists of New York. “I have been going to CRSSNY for about 2 years. I have ulcerative colitis and Dr. Balakumar has been amazing at helping me during any level of flare up to get me to a point that I am no longer as uncomfortable! The staff is so kind and super helpful! Getting an appointment is super easy and they really help work with your schedule. They care about what’s going on so they try to get you an appointment ASAP! The nurses that work with the doctors are super understanding and really helpful! They listen to what’s going on and explain what the doctor needs to do to help assess what is going on. I would definitely recommend this place if you are having any colorectal issues”
